colour coding, best place for paint?

  MK3 GTI golf 16v
ive heard a few horror stories of halfords paint but then a lot of other people use it now problem so im in two minds about whether to use it.

wanted to colour code by side strips pearl black. the pre-made renault black they have on the shelves is pearl black isnt it ? in their colour book it says it is but the codes on the cans arent the paint codes.

anyway, if halfords isnt an option, where else can i get pearl black ?

cheers

i done my last clio side mouldings with all the stuff from halfords ,in pearl black and it was spot on . its hard to get a perfect finish because it is pearl but if you put the work in it comes out good. the stock renault pearlescent black from halford is the one you want

body shop mate, im a painter and there is no chance you can get a decent finish from a rattle can if thats what your planning of using,
if you were down my neck of the woods i would have done them for you
