colourcoding Rear Bumper

Car  ATS CUP'd Dynamique
Dont worry this isnt another thread asking how to colourcode.

I was wondering, if a rear bumper has a plastic bumpstrip which contains parking sensors and i wanted to colourcode it, would it be possible to colourcode the black sensors or would this muck them up.

cheers
Tom

as long as you take the sensor out whilst colour coding it should be fine... i dont see why the sensor would be messed with a bit of paint

na should be ok.

got a questions tho, Y can car sensors be put behind the rear bumper whats the need of the holes still even tho top spec cars have really powerful accurate sensors :s

then jus ask ur local dealer if they r the same ones fitted 2 colour coded bumpers but if theyre factory id say they shud b ok 2 spray a wee bit of paint on them jus dont fully cover them. dont quote me on that tho lol

yea, ide like to say yea colour code those mofos, but tbh ive never been asked to cc any. theyve always been took out or masked up. i dunno if a coat of paint n laquer would bugger up the sensor so ide say go ask a dealer. but ide put money they will say yes it will bugger them up just for the sake of it

here got sum news 4 u tho it aint rly gd. im afraid u cnt colour code the parkin sensors bcus of how they work. ther is apparently a small rubber ring which vibrates n this is how the car judges how close u r 2 an object nearby. if u paint over this it wil not vibrate anymore n ur parkin sensors wil b stuffed. sorry bout tht. the likes of bmw n merc use coloured rubber in the sensors 2 make it look roughly the same colour as the car.

if it fits yea but if ur guna take them apart b careful cus they r easily broken
