Computer Question

How do I empty the list of previously searched items that appear when clicking in the search field in Google?

Same applies to other text fields such as ebay login box, and general text entry fields?

Tools> Internet Options> Content> AutoComplete

Un-tick the boxes.

£5 to the usual address please...

I suppose when mum wants to look for "holidays in spain" and what appears first is "hookers with c***s" it gets a bit embarrassing! ;)

Click in the text entry box and it opens up the drop down list of previously used entries.

Then use your cursor keys to move down through the list to the one you want rid of.

Hit delete.

Hey presto, your embarrassing search for ladyboys is gone, but the rest of the list and your internet history are preserved.
