Confirm my driveshaft has gone, video inside

Notice a bit of a clunk the otherday when moving the car around and going from first to reverse. Thought it might be the driveshaft as it sounded similar to another I had go a few years ago.

When I first got the car I noticed quite a rythmic shaking when accelerating hard.

You can see the shaft actually move up and down when you rotate it which I assume it shouldn't do. Just checking before I get another one. If it's gone I'm after a cup o/s.

Yeah that's fucked. Looks like the tripod joint has collapsed. There's places that sell them on their own.

Will look into the tripod but it may well be cheaper to get a second hand one in the end. Picked my last one up for £20 IIRC. Ph1 should do the job too I think.

@GrahamS i need the dimensions of your tripod joint and the number of splines. From memory it's 30 splines, but need to know the body width and roller diameter.
