Connecting ipod to car stereo?

My ex had a mini ipod and one of the dension ice link plus things for her clio. She has now changed her car to a new shape Tigra and has got an ipod nano. What is the best way to get the new ipod working in the Tigra?

Does she just need to replace the Renault specific part of the old Dension kit? But then I assume the cradle will also be a different size?! She is not bothered about having the cradle as she just sticks it in the glove box any way. So is there a cable that you can buy that just links the ipod to the stereo without the cradle etc?

Any help appreciated.

I've just bought one of these for the VXT...

Slightly over the top maybe but looks incredible. I don't even have an iPod yet but it works perfectly with a USB stick as well, even displaying all the track names on the iPod like display
