conned on ebay - help

my gf got conned on ebay. classic situation where she got an email saying there was money in her account so she sent the item.

the guys ebay account doesnt exist anymore.

what are her options. it was 105 quid for a camera

yeah it was emails that looked like paypal. then further emails from the guy being really friendly, then another finally asking to send it to his uncles house in nigeria.

it was her first ever sell on ebay aswell. just wished shed have mentioned it to me first before she did anything.

ebay should just bann people from nigeria and advise sellers that generally do not send stuff to nigeria, as they always seem to be the ones pulling these scams, that and those gets who end auctions early sayifn that it had been bought else where then PM you saying that if i go onto this website i can get one for only $20, it really works ive had 6, etc.

this happened to my mate got the police involved some how it was a sat nav the unit magically turned up on his door step again about a week later ?
