Continental Sport Contact 5P

Review copied from FRSC.com. Not sure if anyone has tried these on a Clio but these are awesome boots.

Copied...

Just had these fitted to replace my front Conti 3.

Very impressed so far. Quite low road noise. Very good turn-in response, and excellent wet grip. Definitely improved wet grip over OEM. Obviously there is an element of placebo, especially given that my fronts were toast before being replaced. Having said that, trying to remain objective, they are a very good tyre. The rim protection bead is also MASSIVE. They appear quite stretched over the rims.

Cheaper than 3, I reckon 5P is the current tyre of choice for the RS. Pretty special wet grip, although I am guessing this means they will wear out quite quickly.

For reference, I got 9600 miles and a track day out my OEMs

just found out that they have launched a 215 45 17 size and will definitely purchase them for my 197, the CSC3 were very good on the clio and I wouldnt take the risk of getting any other tire tbh, the yokohama's I used for a while were extra stiff and that decreased the comfort to pretty good on the csc3 to non at all on the yoko's so CSC5P I buy right after I ditch my worn set of winter tires spring comes!

update, its not SC 5P, its a new tire, SC5, I've got a set ordered, will let you all know how they perform on the 197 once I get them fitted, not sure when they arrive yet and also have a refurb going on, so I guess should be put on the car within two weeks,
