What are these like: Tar-Ox 40 Groove discs!! £144 -10% BBPT

Now ive got my willy engine i need some good stopping power!! Does anyone know what size the ones from BBPT are? Will they be standard size as i want some big ones behind my 17s!! Should i change the rear ones too match?

Should i buy the BBPT 3 piece uprated clutch?

i only take my williams and johns (night.icons) clio to there

but have you taken into account that the web site dosnt include vat ?
 


Tar-Ox 40 groove are fantastic with a decent set of pads - same size tho.

I got some from Nick Hill with pads and can honestly say they are the best brakes ive ever had on any car,and ive had a few.

Yeah got these front and back. Took a while to bed in but are great disks considering I dont have ABS.

Remember that changing rears will require new wheel bearings. Most people dont bother uprating the rear disks but I did.
 


hmmm think i may only do fronts for now then!!

Do they do them any bigger as the originals look tiny behind my 17s!!

Tarox will do some bigger ones, probably as part of a big disk kit conversion. Depends on how much you want to outlay.

Think someone on here was offering brembo big disk conversion quite cheap. Would probably be cheaper than Tarox.

Depends if you ever want to go back to smaller wheels, if you convert your brakes you will be stuffed.
 


Had my front brakes done at BB recently..

Intended to keep standard discs with some better pads, but it worked out only about £25 more to have their drilled discs + pagid pads.. Even that isnt really necessary though apparently, and any more is just excessive.

Think best brake mod is to replace the caliper, as standard ones arent the best.

Anyone know of a better caliper to use and still keep OE size disks. Not sure if Tarox do them ???
 


hi spec do the cheapest big discs conversion either with or without upgraded calipers. if you want the clutch i,ve got one i,ll let you have for 80 notes no good for mine got to buy a paddle

Dont drilled disc crack under alot of high temps then cooling!!

I must admit i like the look of the Tar-Ox 40 groove discs!!

Am going to Lax Power at the weekend so may get some bargains!!

Looking for Brakes and suspension!!
