Coolant question

Am I correct in thinking that the "Renault Type D" coolant is an OAT (Organic Acid) type antifreeze? Just dont fancy paying £30-40quid for the Type D and wondered if I could get hold of anything else? Any reccomendations?

I am sure I read on here GSF or Europarts do it a fair bit cheaper than Renault.

Hmm yeah it is a little bit cheaper thanks! Still curious if you can get any other type of OAT coolant though.

Comma Xstream Red is an OAT based coolant which will be fine (& is cheaper)
