Copying a DVD onto computer

How do I go about copying a DVD onto a computer, but making it so the files aren't seperate. At the moment when exploring the DVD there is just loads of VOB and IFO files. Is there certain software that will convert the dvd into an mpeg or something?

Cheers

do some searching and find yourself DVD shrink and DVD decrypter... might be tricky to find, but will do just what you want... (afraid I don't have the install files handy...)

I use a program called Im Too DVD decrypter, does the job perfectly, easily downloadable :)
