Couple of rubbish pictures

FINALLY... Got my f1s refurbed.
Decided to change from black to anthracite.
£40 a wheel to get them powder coated.

I personally think they look so much better.

Other half bought them for me as I said they looked nice. HATED them

I also had both front and rear strut braces done anthracite
And, I'm pulling the trophy stickers off (please don't be mean) and replacing them with identical stickers but in anthracite.

Right :

The guys we took the wheels to only had a few colours to choose from. I walked in and saw that colour on a display wheel and nearly wet my pants.

I Didn't think I'd find an exact match to my badges.
I'm not sure of the name. (Plus it was a group of polish guys and I couldn't really understand what they were saying)
The place is called diamond wheels, located in letchworth. Google it and give them a call, I'm sure they can tell you the exact colour.

I got the car at a bargain price £3500 due to the Sachs being absolutely f*cked. I don't like the ride height anyway and coilovers were cheaper Tha getting the Sachs refurbished.

I know lowering a trophy makes many of you cringe, but I love it. It still handles pretty well other then slight arse slides now and again.

I've also got rear seats out and a rear floor mat. Will try find a picture

The centre caps didn't come out too well. due to them being plastic, they can't bake them. So they've actually all flaked and I'd rather roll with no caps than shitty ones.
I'm pretty anal about things like that

My first Clio came with a smaller steering wheel.
I've never had a standard steering wheel. The trophy had tr standard wheel on when I took it to CSS and I hated it. Sloppy. I much prefer the feeling with a smaller wheel.

And a Saab rocker cover (sp)
Came to £400 and was all done in two days.
Really happy with the results.
Scott... I had a lot of fatties in the back, hence the lowness

Rake is when the front is lower than the back. Like this but not so extreme!:

It's a really bad picture taken by someone who thinks he's badass as photos. The steering wheel WAS fully suede covered. Looks better in the flesh if I'm honest. I much prefer the tighter steering it gives.
Deposit? On what? My cup or the trophy.

I would load pictures of the cup now.
But my phones being a dick and my laptops upstairs.

It's stripped. Single bucket seat. Caged
Green bits, splitter etc. going on track Friday and to Germany in march.
Bf sold it to his mate for track use.
I miss it.

Round here the guy we use charges £25 a wheel painted (and does a great job)
Still £40 a wheel is cheap for powdercoating, my friend paid about £70 a wheel.
But yeah it is worth paying more, even if you didnt.

I know, i have no idea how he can charge so little, he did my rear bumper in BG, Bumper insert & exhaust inserts in satin black, and all of my badges in grey for £90 lol!

Powder coated? I thought they bake the powder on, sure they guy said the oven went up to 220* as there was plastic attatched to the rocker cover and he thought it might melt.
