:( Cows damaged my car

Well just back for girlfriends house was in her room all i could here was thuds was like wtf looked out the window saw one cow then about 20 ran past the window they where doing laps of the house then some started running round and hitting my car

turns out they where wild and just unloaded a few hours earlier and where being checked at a farm up the road and they escaped.
ripped down her guttering round the house damaged shed and garage smashed summer seats wrecked bins scattering rubbish wrecked all plants big flower pots and garden etc
more importantly
damaged my wing mirrors and badly scatched up my front bumper.

although could have been worse!!

How much would i be lookign at bumper respray?

Hopefully, got her to take some pics on her camera to show her dad when he gets home hopefully may get it paid for under farmers insurance as wasnt the only house they ran riot round.

I was told that such claims and accidents were regarded as act's of god.

This is becuase when I worked in Halfords some bloke came in wanting to know if we could supply something or other and told us about how a cow had sat on his bonnet! He tried to claim off his insurance and they said no.

As for killing cow's, you should take it ransom the cost of them is unbelievable.

nah it not an act of god - if the farmer hasnt taken enough precautions to stop this happening then he will be liable for any damage caused. only time they wouldnt pay out is if he done everything he could to stop it happening and due to some unforseen reason they escaped he would not be held liable.

ok well guy give me £100 which i thought was fair enough, not going get it resprayed yet as my friend cleaned it up and faded them a good deal with buffer thing and bita black polish, will get it repsprayed when getting car colour coded maybe get a bit of discount.
