Crankcase Breather Setup

  black 172 phase1
Im having a problem understanding the breather setup on my car its a 172 phase1, I wish to put a breather or crankcase evacuator on the car but where the hose comes from the induction bend it goes up into a small pump like object with some wires connected into this is sucking air up into here now does this connnect into the crankcase and exit into another hose which is fed back under and into the throttle body.Which hose to i have to dissconect and put a breather onto

suprisingly enough it more or lees breaths for itself apart from the breather for carbon canister

im looking at a crankcase evacuator instead of a normal breather set up to promote a better vacum in the crankcase for better windage loses
crank spins easier better then a plain breather setup

fair enough! although i'm not so sure on any positive benefit from doing so on a road car

IIRC its the pipe on the bottom of the TB thats the rocker/cam cover breather

the pipe you are looking at is the idle air control valve intake. the ccv is on the bottom of the throttle body (underneath),
