crazy noise/ beep on 182

I dont know what its is but when im on the german autobahn as soon as i get over 120 my car starts to make a high pitcheed beeping sound like a mini alarm, no warning lights or anything. I thought it might be my sat nav or the suction mount on it.Maybe my sat nav just doesnt like the speed.Anyone else had the same???

I think it might be a safety feature with the speed your doing - is your car an import?

i get it too, when hitting over 120 its a high pitch noise... doesn't sound goood!!! It never used to get it when the car was new. had it for a yr now!

i had something similar the other day! it sounded like it was coming from the dash vents so assumed it was just the air coming through and making a funny noise

A few of us on here have had it. Those that have had is solved ( LadyS for one IIRC ) had the front screen resealed.

warranty covers it had mine resealed

Not had mine done, hate the thought of it going back to the dealers for anything.

Theres an option in the UCH to turn a siren on at over 120 that possibly it. Renault themselves you need to turn it off or someone with a Renault Clip.
