Creaking rear suspension

I went to see a 182 the other day, and the rear suspension (I think it was the n/s only) was creaking (sounded like a dry joint).

Is this likely to be something straightforward to sort? The owner said she took it to a high street place to look at, and they couldn't see anything obviously wrong.

It's possible that this will be a track day, so I may be upgrading the suspension as I go along, but thought I'd better find out what the cause might be first.

I think it's just the spring and rubber base creaking against the beam as they are loaded and unloaded, mine and a few others I've been in do it, wouldn't say it's anything to worry about. A bit of grease on the spring base sorted mine for a while but eventually starts up again.
