Creaky front end

I've recently lowered my 182 30mm using eibach springs on the standard front shocks.car was fine before but now the front suspension is making a horrible creaking sound under braking and into some tighter corners..has anyone else had this problem or have any idea what it could be?I have got some powerflex camber bolts but haven't fitted yet because the camber gauge I ordered still hasn't turned up.

How old are the front shocks?

3 or 4 years old I think

May be the top mounts thinking about it

I'd put money on top mounts.
