Cro's red 350z

After no less than 2 people copying my Clio, to the point where externally I could barely tell the difference! So I've lost most of the love for the Clio.

Here's the new toy, and it's epic

Love these nismo 350's I used to work at nissan and unless the nismo kit was fitted from factory you couldnt buy it. Not sure if this is still the case.

You can still buy some nismo stuff new, it just seems to be whatever is left in stock. Seen a few places selling new genuine spoilers, but they are mega money!

The Nismo spoiler needs to go ASAP! lol.

Not a fan of the rear valance they do, either. It looks super tidy though!

Lol wouldn't say cheap, I'm having to leave greenlight which is a shame but it's my first rwd car so they said no.

Christopher I need to have a poke and see what holes and that are under there

Bet it would be a right job to make it nice again after removing the spoiler.

Still, you'd recoup some of the costs of paint and possible filler by selling the spoiler.

I like the small lip on the top of the hatch standard UK cars got. The imports without it look unfinished.

Totally agree jenic, I wasn't convinced about the nismo kit at all but it was purely because of wheel plans. Have to go for a totally different style than I wanted to because of it.

looks nice, i like Nismo stuff, only thing i'm not keen on is the colour to be honest though it looks incredibly clean, coilovers and jdm wheels is all i'd do to it :)

Bit of a small update on what I've been up to since having it. First of all an interior pic to keep Steven sweet

The standard boot mat is as flimsy as tescos own brand bog roll so a new boot mat from Nissan was on order, fitted, thick and much much nicer. I moved the boot net from the clio across as I found it so handy to stop things sliding about

Some carbon bonnet struts to do away with the manual holder

Also ordered some spacers, 20mm front and 25mm rear for the standard wheels, they needed it so badly. I'll throw up the befores and after when I get some after pics taken. Could prob have done a 25/30 split but its only for a while until the new wheels arrive anyway.

Then these arrived yesterday

Once I work out what the craic is i'll get onto fitting them. Unlike most shocks I've worked with before the bottom of the strut rotates to enlongate or shorten the strut as well as the usual spring collars for the height. So unsure how what settings and that it needs to go to

Chris has them on his and the ride is very good, I don't even need to mention the looks

Wheels are on order and should be here within the week or so

Prob just trial fit them and then off again before we get the worst of the winter stuff

That design is superior. It means you can set the height and still adjust preload/spring tension rather than changing the height and preload changing too!

Exactly^^ always pissed me off with the Clio that you ended up losing preload when you made the car lower. Utter stupidity.

Set your height with the lower collar then adjust the preload with the collar and locking collar that the spring sits on. Realistically I'd fit them on then take the car to a local specialist to give them a tweak set the geo and if you're feeling flush have the corner weighting done.

Spot on will do, there's a DIY garage place not far from me you can rent the geo bay with corner weights by the hour so I'll prob head there after fitment

Well the wheels just turned up, delighted with them

Just a teaser, anyone guess the wheel? (The couple that know need not apply :) )
