Cheers mate I'm loving it tbf. I'm tempted by the 197 ready for 1@2 in the for sale section but would mean selling the rs2 extra which is the whole reason all the n/a cars come and the turbo was sold so not sure what to do lol

I don't want to sell tbh it's not a item I'll advertise as I've bought it home to fit once I'm bk from Isle of Wight that engine does seem a bargain tho. But then it's more work that tends to = car sold in parts lol

Spent abit of time on the car today as ive been off so on the axle stands i was feeling good. Started by removing thr aircon pipes and ac rad im now left with the bit behind the scuttle. The ac delete is a fresh belt and a new ribbed pully.

I then did a oil and filter change followed by removing the rad to swap it with a vw polo rad ready for me to fit the rs2 also fitted a vibratec top mount.Getting there

Ac (partly)
Carbon canister
The air filter valve thing
That big weight under top mount

Well cars back together runs as it should with the ac delete so pleased about that finished the day tiger sealing the carbon washer blanks on.

I went black mate but just looked at pewter looks a even better match for the seats i may buy a sample of that to see. The stuff is very good quality compared to the cheaper stuff i used in the vag clio.

Well today was a good day got the rs2 extra fitted got some wires to tidy up but hey its on only ad it kicking around for about 3 clios i was going to fit it to. I need to fit the catch can also.

Ad a chilled weekend still plenty to address in the engine bay like bugger the ticking carbon canister lid right off and tidy some wires. Give it a quick wash this morning to head over to a cars and coffee morning at a local detailing shop handy as they stock autofinesse valetpro n so on. I was the only clio there mind :-( took a couple of pics was a decent morning and the kids liked it

Picked up a couple of bits from the shop GTECHNIQ wash mitt a Madcow mega mott drying cloth and some auto finesse tough coat as i dont have any sealent so looking forward to trying that
