We enquired about his place a few years ago. We visited the site and were pretty much laughed out the door when we told them what we wanted to do and how many people would be attending. We aren’t anywhere near big enough fish for them to bother with.

Ah that's a shame. Nice little venue with a central section for the show aspect.

Sort of but also not really from what I know - I don't believe they would do club events like they did 15-20 years ago.

I went on a supercar experience day about 10 years ago and had a right laugh trying to pedal an Ariel Atom round in the rain. Spent more time going sideways than in a straight line 🤣

Ahh reminds me of FCS 2005 there.

I'd just bought some second hand OZ F1 wheels with mismatched tyres and didn't want to put a new set on for the track session (Bruntingthorpes surface ate tyres IIRC). To combat the chronic understeer I ended up steering like Alonso in the Renault F1 of the same year 😂

Lift off oversteer and the marbles finally got me in the end.

Bruntingthorpe is still there but sadly they don’t do track days etc anymore. It’s now a defleet and prep centre for Manheim. They even got rid of all the old Cold War aircraft, much to the dismay and public protest. What a shame.

Went to visit there recently on a whim as I was on holiday in the area.

Banging, and I mean banging, Cider place 2 minutes away too.

Not to mention those who don’t do the track day could enjoy a proper drive out. The roads around the snowdon area are mind blowing! It’s just a long way from f**king everywhere!

I had a day there in the flamer and it was awesome. The views and track itself are top notch. Here are a few photos and a vid;
