Please come down, I need a beer with you!
Completely agree Sam.
You have zero chance of understanding him, I struggled badly a few years ago.
Please come down, I need a beer with you!
Completely agree Sam.
I must admit, I am gutted no one has said "I was really chuffed to be given some free sweets as we left." I was there for ages giving out sweets and key rings.
I don't get wound up by the feedback tbh. i LOL at some of the more bizarre comments and suggestions but when you have quite a lot of people going to an event you will always get a lot of viewpoints. I appreciate the constructive feedback align with suggestions.
I have been a strong advocate for a CS track day or karting event linked into CSS. However, the obstacles to do this are quite significant, mainly the cost and then secondly the logistical nightmare. So this would be very difficult. My aim would be to potentially get an area at a track day so the track was being used by any member of the public and then we had some area for our CSS. However, members could have bought some track time prior maybe direct form the track. Or something slogan those lines. It will take significant research.
One thing I would like to add re parking etc is this.
We had tom and Dan sorting out the tickets at the gate. Then Saner all in his good will sorting parking with myself assisting. If you want to get parking in colours or models you would need SIGNIFICANTLY more staff to arrange it and tell people where to go. It is very difficult trying to make sure there are no gaps and everyone parks correctly etc.
I would like people to appreciate admin, Owen and Saner all turned up at half eight. Giving us 2 hours to set up. People turn up early so we then have to allocate resources to sort that out. I didn't get to leave the tent after finishing parking at 11am until just after 2pm. Even then I went out purely to get some food (hmmm burger and chips ... LOL) wandered in the entertainment area to see what it was like then came back for raffle etc. Then had to pack up.
It is a very long day for admin and the people who helped us. Not saying we don't enjoy it, we do! We love trying to put on a good show for you guys Just appreciate we are all working very hard that day.

I thought the burger and chips were alright tbh. Pricey, yeah, but they tasted ok.
did someone hit you over the head with a burger?
you needed more merchandise aswell!
cant believe you had 1 air freshener left, then someone bought it and i was like, gah fine ill buy one, then you was like, oh, thats the last one! then you got saner n owen/seb trying to sell me a smelly empty bag which is just as effective apparantly?!? lol
Yeah Luke's accent is a bit strong.
I also missed out Luke liaising with Gaydon along with Nik, his mrs, Brian and Mrs Super-Foxy-Seb working very hard setting up and manning the tent.
We did start the day with quite a few to be fair, just had a run on them. Nothing compared to the mugs and torches though! Must've got through near 100 torches.
You had me with your epic sale pitch to be fair mate. £2 for 2, £4 for 4. £2 for 2 torches and some free sweets.
WHAT. THE. f**k?!
You only had key rings when I left! I demand my money back.
Seb, you can buy a 15 min session at a Combe action day cheaply. And they'll give you a stand area all together
for the say. And if others want more track time than just the one session they can buy it.
Mine? Is it genuinely, because I never notice.
You joking? I got sweets and I'm pretty sure that you left behind me...
or someone with a Bookers card
You need to pay attention on the motorway.
Do elaborate Tom...
P.s - I totally always forget what you look like, sorry
I've looked, but I'm still a little lost at paying attention? All I see is dash in what is about to become a crawler lane due to the hill...
41 mpg I got. !!
I'd have fell asleep!!!! Not fast, not fun.
Most girls won't agree with you mate lol. My drive back on Sunday was quite possibly the longest and slowest drive I have ever done.
