Getting the fluid changed and the new lines on is all good stuff but the cut in that other part, how could someone leave it like that seriously 🙈
cheersGood project, love be the golf.
WD40 works well for removing the glue off the sound deadening

19’s?
Cheers georgethat brake fluid had seen better days! didn't notice you mentioned the rear disc spacer. Probably the reason why someone took the grinder to the stub axle to get bearings off, if not fitted get some on asap:

Surprised the disc even went round without a spacer, worrying to think that people think doing this stuff is acceptableAs above. Previous owner of my car decided it was a good idea to also install the spacer backwards on one side and torque the nut to pissing eleventy[emoji849] The other side didn’t even have one[emoji19]

It made a horrid racket but the caliper stuck on and cracked my disc in half on the A19 before I noticed the bearing:tearsofjoy:😂Surprised the disc even went round without a spacer, worrying to think that people think doing this stuff is acceptable

First things first this morning i came out the door to see him head first in his bonnet,
only to find he hadnt fully tightened a boost hose after a turbo rebuild
