CUP/172 POLL

Not really a fan of either as their a bit too refined but hold a gun to my head and ill say cup - purely because its supposedly more performance orientated. Then again if its a mk1 172 id have that as they look better......

If you had the choice of a 172 or a Cup which would you go for?

Both exactley the same condition mileage, year etc.

No explainations needed just a 1 word answer will do.
Whats the point of this question? Have you got the choice to make?

If you have, then drive both and make your own mind up, lots of people on here have already made the choice and it always comes down to personal choice.....its not a case of whats better, its whats better for you.

If i were you go for a 172

everyone knows that cups are poo

theyve got not kit

and and rattle like sh*t

and are only available in blue.

If money is not an issue

and all round excellence is your game

buy a 172 as blue cups are poo

and buying one is reaaly a shame.

Now many cup owners will disagree

and argue till blue in the face

but the important thing is

that 172s are the biz

and neck and neck in a real life race.

Its true that they have the edge

when tearing around a track

but people who know

the 172s to go

and the track talk is just cack

HEE HEE sorry, just a bit bored at work

172, though i must admit, the idea of a nicely modded cup in a motorsport/rally styleee would be nice. The difference in performance between the two however (to me personally) means diddly sh*t, its the same engine, it aint gonna be that different. The thing that sold the 172 over the cup for me, was the leather seats, but if you get a nice set for the cup then who knows, but overall i still stay with 172.
