if you have cut away the whole of your inner door skin, surely you don't need the CUP RACER SPACERS???

No as they'd have no where to mount.

You'd need to hold the end of the cable against the door and pull the black thing just like the actual cup racers (mk3)

No you don't need them. I have no inner skin and I just bonded the door handles into the door trim.
