CUP RACER SEAT ( SABELT ) INTO 182

Afternoon-

So I have a 182 + Cup racer seat with 197 seat mounts / base etc-


I know R-Sport will do an adaptor kit- but the owner says OMP will do a kit for maybe £50-

Any ideas?

Yeah they'll work, mine are on Cobra X-Low subframes.

Got any links to your Cobra subframes- I though if you had a seat by Sabelt then only a sabelt base would fit!

I don't have any links I'm afraid, not sure they even stock them anymore. Only thing I know is there was someone thinking of making a batch of similar looking subframes but can't remember who it is.

Nah all the Mk2 aftermarket subframes are universal for mounting side mounted bucket seats. OMP ones are the cheapest, but also the worst as they make the seat sit wonky.

Omp works well, then just use the side mounts.
I found with the OMP subframe tho, that I had to come up one set of holes on one side of the side mounts to have the seat level.

I think I know which seat you are looking at Steve, I nudged Nick towards this the other day.

Tbh there isn't a lot of them about. Sparco made one, OMP and Cobra. Other than that it's someone making one up for you.

Try capital seating, they may offer something that I don't know about.
