cup splitter question..

hi all. i need a new splitter as i hit a small badger and smashed it to bits!! so been to renault got a price £140!!!! so then i went to our local motorist centre to see what he could do,after a few phone calls he got a price of £37. so what i want to know is who has made a f**k up?? renault or our motorist centre???
