Cup spoiler brake light

Have fitted a cup spoiler to my 172 and the connector for the break light is different. I went to my local stealers and they were useless so I'm wondering if anyone has come up with a solution or has had the same problem and happens to know if there is a part number/such a part

It is known that they can differ. Most people chop the connectors off and connect the wires with spades or similar.

Thought using spades may have been the answer will give it a bash at the w'end

No probs, just make sure you insulate them well or you'll blow your fuse

Yep just cut them, Thats what I did with mine. In fact I cut mine and soldered it on for an even smaller (diameter wise) connection.

That connector on there is flipping huuuugggeeeee!
