Cup Spoiler fitting help!!

Just tried fitting a cup spoiler to the ph1 172. Arse. Can't get it on without fouling the roof. All the screws tightened up, but theres still a gap between rear windscreen and the spoiler, no idea what I'm doing wrong?

On a different note is your windscreen washer working, as mine isn't?

My rear washer has never worked fella, so couldn't tell you. The spoiler actually broke when mounting it, closed the boot, but then it was catching so badly, it damaged the left side central screw mounting point. Think it may now be scrap

I think the gap may be normal. If I look from the side my spoiler des not sit on the window.

Does it line up with the roof etc?

EDIT: Obviously not if it snapped it!!!

Ah Gutted Fella.... Dependant on how big the gap was depends if it was sitting properly or not, There is a Small Gap between my Spoiler and screen
