cup spoilers

ive just got a cup spoiler for my 182 but it needs painting. how do you remove the std brake light from the spoiler?

VERY carefully.
You have to pry it out, but they break so easily!

Poke in a sharpie magic marker in the hole in the back and push it out. Dont try and lever it from the front of the lens as itll prob snap.

that sounds like a better method! Ridiculous design!

Yup, the clips corrode and theyre usually pretty snug. Push the sharpie in against the plug inside. Its just the right size and wont damage anything.

the way i did it was with a spatula with a bit of tissue wrapped round it, working your way round slowly until you can grab it with your fingers
