Cup suspension or not!

  Liquid yellow 182

Hello all. Im new in here - never done owt like this before so i apologise for amateurness!!

I could do with some advice on the 182 if anyones willing to help? Im desperate for one of the little beauties, and am test driving one tomorrow. What i dunno is whether to opt for the cup suspension pack or not.....mainly town driving yet like the look of the extras.

Definatly go for thge cup pack personaly, its not to hard infact for some its not hard enough.
There long arguments over this but there wont be that much of a difference. But at resale Cuped 182 will be worth more or least be easier to sell.

To be fair, i guess id be in it more for the looks....

in that case do you prefer the silver or the anthracite, for me its the anthracite everytime, 99% of all alloys you see are silver so there are a bit different.

Definately the anthracite Dave - for the originalty reasons. Like the spoiler too.

Never had a new, desirable car before so feel like i may as well just push the boat and go the whole hog.

Youve all been wonderful with the advice by the way, thanks ever so much

You have said you are in it for the looks...and you prefer the look of anthracite...

Sounds to me like you are sorted then :D

Sounds like you just need to pick the paint colour and tick all the option boxes! I went for both the cup packs, normal met paint but not the cd changer. First brand new car to, its a good feeling the day it turns up.

No question, go for the Cup suspension, plus you get the anthracite coloured alloys, and as Tom says....how many cars have alloys wheels that are not bog standard silver?

I plumped for Titanium with the Cup suspension pack, no Cup spoiler pack as am not a fan of the kicked up rear spoiler although I do have K-tec carbon fibre splitter.

IMHO the Anthracite wheels provide a nice contrast with the the Silver paintwork, more so than the other 182 colours. But hey... you pays your money.. you take your choice.

Cheers

yes get it cupped.

Whenever I see a non cupped version (hardly at all) I wonder why they didnt opt for it. Maybe they are all cheaper imports I am seeing.

Although fair enough if someone really doesnt see the point of a cupped version and prefers silver wheels. But if they dont see the point then why but a 182PS car in the first place.

get the cup packs.

mines not cupped, coz its and import and cupped import were few and far between at the time of purchase. but it only cost me 11k so i aint complaining.

Mines not cupped as I do a lot of motorway miles and its hard enough as it is!

dont try driving around town with hot drinks in your hand if you get the cup suspension! bumpy ride. and remember to wait an hour before driving after dinner.

Mines not cupped for similar reasons. When I change job I might consider getting better suspension - which will be better than cup suspension anyway. Plus I dont like the anthracite on any colour other than Titanium or Black Gold.
