Cup to 172 Phase 1

Hiya folks,

Had a search but can't find out for sure, but out of interest will 172 Cup suspension fit on a Phase 1 172 and vise versa?

Just have a few mates after some info!

Well the H&R coilover kits fit both MK1 and MK2 clio's so i'd say it was the same.

That's what I presumed...as far as I know the 'basic' setup is the same, with them all having 54mm spacings etc...

What's the difference with the hubs then? May as well ask while it's in conversation so I can tell my friends I was right in the first place!

The wider track from the Cup 172 is only because of the Turinis different ET value

The 182 has the larger hubs

I've just fitted the front struts for a 172 Cup to my ph1 172. The bolt spacing is the same on the hub. Only problem with it is that it now drives like a dog! Just needs the tracking doing hopefully.
