Custom Silicone water hose set DIY?

Noob time..

I'm having a hard time finding a water hose kit in yellow. I'm only after it purely for cosmetic looks.

KTR do them.. Just not in yellow -.-

So this leads me down the alternate "can I do it myself?" route.


So.. Can i?

I'm thinking of this

In the custom diameter and length needed then simply swap over? Maybe with new clips too?

You need any bends formed into the hose already, I doubt anything on the roll will do what you need with out cutting.. What you linked is vacuum hose and got for nothing but air.

Each cut = 2 extra leak points = more fail..

Don't the pinky ponkys do them? I ordered a set for my 5 that came from China or hongkong..

I'll give the custom idea a miss then lol and Luke yeah I found the coolant hose options but wondering if there's a water hose option. Don't want to come across stupid, but I already have so I'll carry on.. Pinky ponkys Dave?

Coolant hoses are water hoses mate.

My bad it was late last night.. Just realised KTEC do forge or Samco hoses, both the same right products right? Ones just like £90 cheaper, looks different, and ones called Coolant hoses and the other water hoses -.-

Swear if left to my own devices I'd just buy everything :tired:

As above coolant hoses are the same as water hoses mate. Links to the ones your on about as cant see why they would look different.
