CV Boot Clip Broken :-(

Hi guys,

Car was in with Renault today for a free check and one of the things they mentioned was that the CV Boot clip was broken. Have quoted nearly £110 to fix it Obviously I'm not gonna pay £110 for a new clip and some grease so looking to do it myself.

What size clips will I need and will the standard B&Q jubilee clips be ok to use? They didn't mention if it was the smaller or larger clip and haven't had a chance to jack it up.

Also, Roughly how long will it take to fit?

There are two types of band, I went for the ear plier method, google images the bands... they sort of have teeth that lock onto the band then the plier tightens the band securely.

Dont have a clue about size sorry, the universal bands can be snipped to required size. but its probably better to get the correct size and a decent quality band.
