cv gaiter wont stay put

right had this problem for a little while now,gaiter came off,,cv juice all over wheels (b*****d 2 clean btw)

cleaned it all up then put a hose clip on nice and tight however all the grease keeps coming out from where its on the hub,doesnt matter how tight i do it,once ive been for a drive it comes out again,no splits in the gaiter though..

had this too. All I can suggest is a rubber boot to replace the plastic standard one. it's a bit more work to sort though

As above, aftermarket rubbers ones are a lot better. I had the same problem, no matter how tight the clip was it would still seep out.

so just order a replacement from a motorfactors and itll be rubber?

yea. should be. what type of clip you using? jubile clip?

thats odd ive normally seen them hold ok, unless the gaitor ovaled too much?

possibly as it had come back off the hub and was tucked under so it may have done.which do people recommend?split fit n glue,semi tailored or fully tailored?

i prefer to stretch the rubber ones but i have the tools to do that
