D.I.Y. Sunroof Rattle Cure

i got sooo p*ssed off with my sunroof rattle that i decided to do womething about it. Reno gave me a load of bull about it taking 4 hours to fix the rattle so i had a go myself.... AND IT WORKED!!!! and best of all it only took about 10 mins to do!

If u guys are interested i can put up a guide with pics.

my car is now stealth of all rattles, i took the dash off and sorted out those rattles too. All i need now is to sort out the engine knocks.

lol, its was dead easy actually. I did exactly what Reno do but it only cost me about 3p !!! all will be revealed tomorrow when i can take some decent pics in daylight.

you put some rubber tubing on the sunroof handle didnt you. there is a renault tech note with loads of mods to the frame etc and it does take ages to do it all.

electric sunroof, rattles can be quietened down by appplying copper grease or normal auto grease to the rail and runners. altho it wont fix it completely.
