D60 memory card problem - help

went to the zoo today and took some pics. i had a half filled 4gb memory card and ended up filling it completely.

just plugged my D60 into my computer and nothing. tried the memory card in a card reader and nothing.

it says the memory card is full but i cant get access to the photos.

help?

The sliding lock tab on the side isn't slid to lock at all is it?

Is it an XD card? I had this. I put it in veiwed a few piccys. Put it back in and it was not formated. So i lost the lot.

i think ive managed to sort it.

i right clicked on d60 in explorer and changed the setting so it copies all photos to m pictures as soon as it connects. it seems to be copying as we speak.

very strange problem
