so the passat now has some nice new mats and has also been tinted all the way round, very happy with it, will get some pictures up shortly if anyones actually interested....

and sadly the front plate has had to go back on, its been roughly 3-4 month run without so good innings, things got quite serious regarding it, i can't tell the story now for legal purposes but i will do shortly...lol

I should be fine to talk about this now as i have been told it has been cleared up with regards to myself...

So i got a call on Wednesday afternoon from my mother (a local Police Officer woman). She didn't talk to me normally, was very blunt and strict...
mum - "where is your car?"
myself - "at rob's house" (a guy i share lifts to work with)
mum - "where is that?"
myself - "um..i dunno the road name, kyte road i think"
mum - "right, well get that numberplate back on the front, this is coming from higher up than myself" 'bye"

i thought this was strange as my mum is normally cool, but i could kinda understand about the plate as i have kind of been kind of avoiding it...
anyways as i am leaving work i get another call from my mum explaining the previous phone call...

mum - "hi son, right let me explain the call before. We have had 2 reports of young ladies being stalked / followed. The first one was on monday morning, and the second on wednesday" One of the incidents was refered to as more of an ubduction attempt. The reason i am calling you son is because the description that has been given is a dark green car with dark windows."

my car had the windows tinted on the tuesday....

mum - "the reason i rung and spoke to you like i did before was because on the wednesday your car had been spotted parked up oppisite the school (where the girls are from), it matched the description so was followed up."

my collegue who i share lifts with lives oppisite the school,
A teacher from the school had seen the car, had then been over to were it was parked taken a series of photos of it and then reported it to the police, the police went out and checked it out (it probably didn't help that the car was sat with no fron plate and looking pretty menacing) and then went back to the station for the details.... this was then were they notice my name and my mother's name being the same, forth-hence the time when she first called asking where the car was...

so although i am pretty much in the clear i basically got accused of being a peodofile stalker....
i am happy that its sorted ut still keeping an eye out as any angry parent may have something to say with knowing all the facts (kind of understandable)...

needless to say i got back to the car that evening and bodged the plate back on...
i doubt many will find it interesting, but who cares....

luckily because the window tints were done on the tuesday evening the stickers had to be removed, hence they were not on there when the police looked over the car, lucky really, could of made it a little worse... as below

with 5 rings on the back....

bearing in mind these are young girls descriptions, but it was basically an audi, however when a girl left the school on the wednesday she saw the passat and just decided that was the car.... (mine),
the other incident match up either and it was someone in a green Audi estate picking a colleague up further up the road...
