dash display n stalk

hi
can any body help me ? got an alpine hu cda7893r and want to fit it to my clio but i wanted to no weather it is possable to keep the display n stalk . my local audio car shop said that alpine do 1 but there not confident that it will work n im not willing to waste £60 on some leads . does any 1 have an after market stero and still have the lcd on dash working thanks col

7893 is a fairly old (2001?)iirc so the adapters might not work

i no mate but stilla good unit got all the toys .... and looks better than some of these new madels just dont want to wast money that i could put towards a new unit that will work with the clio dash

oh yeah the early alpines are some of the best

according to cad my 9815 don't even work with the leads and i think thats a 2003

so it seams that im going to have to shop 4 a new unit then do u no of any alpines that will run the screen n stalk with the correct cables ?

i'm sure it works with 2006 models too but don't hold me to that
