Dash Inserts Sprayed Pics

I saw a V6 earlier on here earlier with the dash insert strips colour coded and I thought it looked pretty trick.

I know from reading some posts other people have had them done by Mark on here and was wondering if you could post some pics up of your colour coded inserts?

Im possibly thinking of doing the same on mine DIY, but not sure yet. What would be the best way to apply the paint and get a good finish?

I did mine about 12 months ago .I sanded them down with some 1500 grit wet n dry . Plastic primer , sanded that smooth , 3 coats of colour and about 3 coats of lacquer applied quite thick .
