Dash malfunction

Yesterday morning as I drove to work my dash seemed to die for a second. I'd just pulled out of my drive and driven 400m down the road when all the lights went off and dials died then quickly came back on again. I'm not sure but the headlights might have switched off at the same time. The engine kept running the whole time.

Any idea what happened?

yer i think this happen to me as well? it reset the trip comp as well! but the car was running fine during this!

Yep. Did that too. Everything died :S

clio instrument panels themselves were troublesome for a while. very expensive just to try one though.
