Dash stop and battery lights flickering

Anyone ever had it when parked up with engine running you put the rear windscreen heater on and the dash stop and battery sign flickers on and off untill you pull off ?? tis annoying.

ye mine does that as well. I think its just the alternator not spinning quick enough to charge on tick over.
Its all gd though
