Dashboard Lit Up Like a Xmas Tree....

  BMW F21 125d
Firstly a bit of history, for the last 4 weeks my car has only ever been doing very short journeys, all less than a couple of miles and not very often at that.

Yesterday, i let it warm up fully and then went for a bit of a spirited drive. First thing i noticed was the great amount of white/clear smoke out of the exhausts, i'm sure it was just condensation, maybe that had built up in the exhausts with all this frost we'd been having? Then after braking from high ish speed, and not too hard, i get the ABS, SERV, and TRACTION CONTOL light on.

Everything still worked, ABS and Traction Control, so i turned it off and back on again and it cleared. But then after a bit again, it came back. Any Ideas?

hopefully its just an ABS sensor on one of the wheels or even one of the rings has come off. im not sure if they are solid part of the hub or knock on ones on clios.

Anyone else? Also it hasnt done it since, but i've not done any spiritied driving since. I dont suspect my brakes as I had my discs/pads and lines replaced only last month.

Brake pedal switch. This is like the 4th person to ask this week, lol. Search!

LOL Cheers, searched and found your fix....

Brake pedal sensor. Behind the pedal theres a wiring plug and switch, take em off and clean the connections. Unhook the battery for a bit, put it all back together and it should be right. If not, you'll need a new switch.

Othewise it seems its a £25 for a new sensor.

9 times of 10, you'll need a new switch. IMO, it's easier to just chuck one on, ony need to take it apart once then :)
