Dastek unichips?

  CX-7,westfield,ix20
Hi,

Has anyone got any experience of Dastek unichips on clio 182's?

The reason I ask id that I have 2 different types sat in my cupboard from previous cars (1 type A and 1 type C).

Does anyone know if either of these will be suitable for my 182 and whether they would show any gains? (only other mods planned at the mo are ITG panel filter and a cat back system)

Undecided on whether to get a de-cat pipe or a sports cat just now so advice on the best option also appreciated as I'm pretty clueless about renaults (having only owned one since Thursday lol)

Cheers,

David

Last time i checked they didn't do one for a 182...Wouldn't go down that route to be honest. Expensive and not very productive. Give Paul at RStuning a buzz.

Unichips havn't been set up to be used on the Clio and since the stock ECU can be remapped I'd just use that simpler easier option.

I'd go for a deact on a 182 since stock cat is almost a sports cat anyway.

Cheers for the tips...I had heard of th re-map by RS tuning but thought I would ask about the unichips since I had 2 sat in my cupboard and they would've cost about the same to be mapped to the car.

RS tuniing remap it is then once I've got my exhaust etc sorted :)
