haha, it was funny watching the BMW Clio (that's how close they were) shoot off into the distance. I left you to it as I had a TV moving around in the boot.
i manaed to do both journeys in around an hour which was good as AA and TomTom said it would take me 1h30mins.
Lee, did you notice as we left FCS that I was messing around for ages with something, for some reason my phone kept losing the bluetooth gps and had to keep synching it and in the end turned them both off and back on again. Was very difficult though as i didn't know where i was going and knew you were following me and trusting i knew where i was going lol.
It's been done time and time again Roy. They have replaced every single link in the chain twice. It's been okay for a couple of months this time but as it did last time it's progressively getting worse and worse.
I want it to break down, then they'll have to fix it properly for once.
Sounds like they are replacing the 'bits' with standard items...in which case it will fail again since the standard items fail in the first place. IMO the only way they'll FIX it is to replace the wire and then strenghen the connection with tape/cable ties
I'll mention that next time. You would think they would be able to see that it's not adequately supported and is moving around under quicker than normal driving conditions!
Last time it had a new part to the loom, connector and sensor.

Yeah I think I was quite lucky as my dealer seems switched on. They didnt just start replacing things willy nilly - they tested everything and came to the conclusion that its a bad design and they fixed it. I've never looked at what they did but it's still fine about 20k miles later so whatever it was they did , it worked Probably glued to together wth selotape and pipe cleaners :clown:
