De cat MPG

So i was told by some when i De cat my 182 it wont make any diff to my MPG after having it for 4 days my average has dropped from 32 - 25/24 thats a big difference lol.

is this unusual??

I am getting the car cammed and mapped with in the next 2 months so hopefully get a few more mpg back!!

Just interested to see what other people that have Decat are getting.

On my 172 about 29 - 31 mpg round town, that's with the Decat and RS2 + mapping.

You sure you just haven't been putting your right foot through the floor to listen to the noise?

Could also be that the lambda sensor has failed, how is the car running?

Lol i may be booting it some of the time!!

I thought if there was a problem with the lamba the EML would come on??

Car is running sweet exept for the 1st min i start her up she sounds rough now with the new exhaust
