thinking about getting 1, but wanted to know weather i would notice a slight change in performance, sound etc if i just put it on with the standard 172 pipe??

yep, more grunt, more 'race' like noise but wouldn't be massively different like if you we're fitting it with a yozzasport ragnotti zorst for example. that's loud!
