de-catting standard exhaust

have been told you can de-cat the standard exhaust? how do i do this, is it easier to just replace the cat with piping you just gut the curret cat?

will obviously need to put one on for mot and i like the hidden look of the standard exhaust, is it easy to take the cat off? also is it just bolted on like the back box? and what is the best piping to replace it with?

my birds step dad decatted his evo and boy did it make a difference, also i was behind him (obviousley lol) and he down changed and floored it and the note of the exhaust was amazing and a blue flame came shooting out the back lol (obviousley my 1.2 wont do this lol)

will i see any gains in having it de-catted?

how much you want for it? is it easy to fit, and on another thread it says that a light comes on when you take the cat off? will i have this happen to me?

I think k-tec were selling decats as well, not to sure though, prob betta with Fred's though, more attention 2 detail from the sound of things.
