De-stickering back window!

  Clio RS 200 Gordini
Hi, this is my Clio 1.1 TCE GT Line TomTom currently running 104BHP if the numbers are correct with the modifications (Which I doubt).

I've just de-stickered the back window by peeling them off, literally took about 2 seconds but once I got all three off I realised I took some of the element from the back window heater off too! Question is, has this caused damage?

Here are pictures of the car and the stickers with the element on it:

I cant try it out because I can't mist the back window up myself, or can you? Let me know if you guys think of a way apart from sitting in the car for 3 hours.

Parcel shelf out and a bowl of hot water sat in the boot?

I meant as a way of misting up your window to test the element.... Remove your parcel shelf and place a bowl of hot water into the boot and close it, Wait a few minutes and you 'should' have a misted up rear screen.

Phaha, champion. I got that reply totally wrong then! Yeah it is working but I don't know if I've reduced its life. Ah well, selling the car at 30k miles anyway, another 15k to go!
