Dead switches

I thought these were blank switches, but when i prised them out i found two of them were already connected. Can anyone tell me what they do? I think on the Phase 2 that longer one was a dimmer for the dash? Except mines is a mk1 ph 3. Thanks

On my ph1 RT the top one is the dash dimmer, yes, and one of the bottom switches is for the front fogs and the other one is dead. Hmm... I wonder if mine has wires from underneath...

Or you could just look in your car manual .

Most clios share the same dash loom - the wiring for extras is there but the car will not be fitted with the extras

I didn't get a car manual with the clio :S I'm not sure what the last owner done with it.

Cheaper to make one loom and fit that to them all than to make 10 different ones.

as the wiring is there buy a dash dimmer switch and then you have a new function on the car! :approve:
