I recieved a letter yesterday from my local dealer, saying that in order to hit October sales targets, they have decided to sell new and used cars at "cost" value.
What is cost value? What they pay for them? I don't understand.
We're only just over halfway through October lol ,i wouldn't expect them to hit their target sales just yet . It'll be a marketing ploy to get people into their show rooms .
We did this with at work a while back. The cost price included a 'small amount' which appearently helped cover the cost of heating and lighting the store and my commision payment
i wonder if it'll be just pre- registered cars? a lot of these deals will be dodgy just to get you in the show room and when you ask for a car at the spec you want "oh sorry sir but thats not included in the offer"
It means they sell them for trade price. Im in the car trade myself and know excatly what it means. My advice is for you to get yourself down there mate.
