Decat just fitted vibration in 1st and 2nd gear under heavy right foot

Hi had decat fitted yesterday,when driving in 1st and second,the dash and front vibrates a lot,especially uphill.Does this mean new engine mounts or get the engine moved forward a bit.Also has polybushed dog mount,but vibration is much worse since decat

Who fitted the decat? was a new fitting kit used?

new cat to manifold kit fitted, i think i need the drivers mount changed and engine pulled forward,as before decat the manifold sounded like its hitting something

Ah ok.

well there is a Kangoo engine mount that fits the 172, and is stiffer. Thats the one i would go for.

Easy to do yourself. Jack under engine and undo all the bolts.

Hows your car sound with the decat? I have one on the way for mine and im hoping for not much extra drone on motorway but nice when pushing it

Should of gone for a sports cat. Much easier than keep changing it for mot.

odd one its not boomy or drony at all and the decat was straight through,also put the new cat to manifold kit,deffo picks up better and feels better to drive,wish i did this earlier
